The Oilfields Sports Association is an organization of dedicated volunteers that provides sports activities for children from the ages of 4 to 18.  The OSA services Black Diamond, Turner Valley, Longview and the surrounding areas.  We facilitate baseball, soccer and swimming events each Spring and Summer season and bring together coaches and volunteers for the benefit of children of a variety of skill levels in our community.

While baseball is widely known as an American sport it has definite Canadian roots as well.  In 1838 the magazine Sporting Life featured articles by an Ontario fan supporting the theory that baseball may have even originated in Canada.  No matter where it started we have definitely had a solid growing community of little leaguers ever since.

Soccer is becoming the fastest growing team sport for boys and girls in North America.  As a sport of speed and endurance soccer creates an opportunity for exercise and good sportsmanship as children of all ages learn to work together as a team.  The Oilfield Sports Association is committed to providing a challenging and safe environment for our children to grow up in.
